Paul & Esther Button’s Sunrise Arts exhibition & gallery sale is now in it’s 8th year.
A highly successful event on the art scene’s annual calendar held over 3 days, it brings together an eclectic collection of local artists to display their art in Paul’s stunning home with the gorgeous backdrop of Lennox Head’s beach and ocean.
Paul explains, ‘The 24 local artists include a fascinating spectrum of arts such as painting, drawing, ceramics, pottery, metal sculptures, wood-carving, etching, jewelry, textiles, printmaking, mixed media, mosaics and other visual arts practices’.
Paul trained as an architect in the UK, and has worked in exotic locations around the world, including New Guinea, Nepal, Oman, the UK, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Australia.
When he built his home in Lennox, it was no surprise that it includes not only an art gallery, but also a studio for him to continue creating pottery, ceramic and wood-carved sculptures.
Paul believes that creativity is essential for a healthy community. His aim is to promote art and to share his knowledge and experience to help others in their journey. This is the reason for his exhibition.
Paul also initiated this year’s extremely successful inaugural Open Studios – Ballina, Byron & Beyond adventure arts trail.
The Sunrise Arts exhibition is a perfect opportunity to find individual, unique and beautiful gifts for family and friends.
Open 10am – 4pm on Friday 30 November, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December at 20 Blue Seas Parade, Lennox Head. Contact Paul for more information on 0418 909 203.
