Chocolate and Walnut Brownie cake

220g dark chocolate, chopped

150g butter, chopped

1/4 cup (60ml) water

3/4 cup (165g) caster sugar

1 cup (150g) self raising flour

3 eggs

150g dark chocolate grated, extra

3/4 cup (90g) chopped walnuts

Grease and line with baking paper a 23cm square slab cake pan.

Place the chocolate, water, butter and sugar in a medium saucepan and stir over low heat, without boiling, until the chocolate is melted.

Cool for 10 mins.

Stir in eggs, flour extra chocolate and nuts.

Pour mixture into prepared pan.

Bake in moderately slow oven for about 45 mins.

Cool in pan.

Dust with icing sugar and serve with fresh berries.
