It’s no secret that Club Lennox is a hit with locals, with great food, entertainment and atmosphere, there is something for everyone at the local venue.
Well this month, in celebration of the arrival of spring, Club Lennox is dishing up another degustation evening especially for those who are keen to learn a bit more about what to drink with their food—and how to drink it.
Next Wednesday evening six courses will be served with matching wines from Taylors’ Wines. There will also be a Taylors’ Wines expert on hand to discuss and educate us about the different wines on offer.
The menu, prepared by Head Chef, Jim Coakley has Spring very much in mind.
The very best seafood, all sourced locally is on the menu including Richmond River Oysters, Scallops from Tassie and Ballina Prawns. The Roast Spring Lamb Rack is one of Jimmy’s favourites.
“It is a dish that has been done for many many years, but you won’t find it in many commercial kitchens because it’s too fiddly for an everyday menu”.
At $85 per person for six courses and wine this is great value, and there will be a draw on the night where one lucky diner will win their ticket price back.
Don’t forget to look out for the ‘drunken melons’, served as the last course, they’re named quite appropriately!
