Kids aged between 13 – 15 are invited to audition to star in the Inspiring Change Challenge anti-bullying campaign TV Commercial.
The commercial will be aired in October on NBN Television and the campaign will feature on other media platforms such as print and radio.
Auditions are set to take place on Friday 25th July between 3:30 and 5:30 pm at the Children’s Room in the Lennox Head Community Centre.
The Inspiring Change Challenge organised by Third & Public marketing set secondary school kids the challenge to come up with their own anti-bullying campaign concepts. The winners from Emmanuel Anglican College will now have their idea turned into a real life media campaign by Craig Parry, internationally renowned photographer, and Clare Southwell from marketing agency Third & Public.
Clare Southwell from Third & Public says ‘Acting experience is not necessary. We just want kids who are confident enough to take part and act naturally. There will be very little speaking involved and scenes will be relatively straightforward. We really want a range of characters to come to the auditions as we will be looking for such a diverse range of roles. We know that people don’t always want the less glamorous roles but these are often the star roles with the most important part to play. We also need the person in the skateboarding role to be able to skate competently and be able to do basic tricks that they would normally do at a skate park’.
The roles include:
– The person being bullied
– Skateboarder (needs to be competent at skating)
IMPORTANT: Auditions must be booked via Clare at Third & Public marketing as places are limited on 0448 720 549.
Kids must have the parents’ or guardian’s permission to attend the auditions and to be filmed.
