The annual Lennox Head Carols in the Park will once again be held at Williams Reserve on Sunday 3 December from 5pm.
This year promises yet another fantastic line-up led by Trish Wilson, showcasing some amazing local talent and performances from surrounding schools and community groups. Feature acts also include The Mumblers, Ballina-based Emily Vaughan (a year 11 student from Xavier Catholic College and a finalist in the Dolphin Awards for song-writing) and a special performance from the Lennox Head Golden Oldies.
Families are encouraged to bring along their picnic rugs and enjoy the festivities, where no one will go hungry with the Golden Oldie’s hosting a sausage sizzle, Olive & Luca serving up their amazing pizza and Macadamia Castle putting on an array of pancake specials.
Chips, soft drinks, water, coffee, cake and Zooper Dooper iceblocks will all be available to purchase.
Carols in the Park is hosted on a sports field, therefore for safety reasons glass is not permitted.
Santa is scheduled to arrive at 5:00pm so get in early to secure your seat. Family favourites, including face-painting, fairy floss and farm animals will all make a return as will the spectacular fireworks finale, generously sponsored by Macadamia Castle.
Candles & glow sticks will be on sale and everyone is invited to join in the community sing-along.
The Lennox Head Carols in the Park is an alcohol-free, family-friendly event but unfortunately dogs must remain at home.
