
David Greiner lost his adored wife Christine to brain cancer in 2015. Every year since he has run this community event—Walk 4 Brain Cancer— to raise funds for brain cancer research, and in memory of his wife.
The Course
The 21km run/walk is hugely popular among locals and is considered one of the best tracks in the Northern Rivers. The start is along seven mile beach then the middle is a hill run over a dirt road to Broken Head, then once again along the beach to Cosy Corner then finish on the esplanade along Byron Bay’s main beach.

Registration | The Community Centre will be open on Saturday, 25 November between 5.00pm to 7.00pm for enquiries, late registrations and merchandise sales.

Return transport to Lennox Head from Byron Bay by GoByron will be available at a cost of $5 per seat after the walk from 9.00 am until midday.
