Losing your furry friend is tough but Ballina Shire Council’s Chip N’ Check initiative will help lost pets get home safe.
The Council program is offering free cat and dog microchipping at the Ballina Animal Shelter on Saturday 17 June and Saturday 24 June 2017, along with $50 desexing vouchers that can be redeemed at participating veterinaries.
“We are offering these incentives to promote responsible pet ownership within our community and help reunite lost pets with their families,” said Ms Kerri Watts, Manager, Public and Environmental Health.
To take advantage of Council’s Chip N’ Check program, book your pet’s microchip appointment by calling Council on 6686 1210 (bookings are essential). The first 100 people who come along to the Chip N’ Check days will receive a $50 desexing voucher.
