Although poor weather conditions continue, Ballina Shire Council crews are working through the shire to clear roads and parks of fallen debris.
To assist residents in the clean-up, Council is offering free domestic green waste drop off at the Ballina Waste Management Centre.
Residents must show proof of residency, such as a drivers licence.
Kerbside bins will be collected as usual and residents are encouraged to utilise their green waste bin where possible. Residents are asked not to stockpile storm debris on the kerbside, but drop it off at the Waste Management Centre.
The Ballina Waste Management Centre is located on Southern Cross Drive, on the way to the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport.
Hours of operation are 8am to 4pm seven-days a week.
This offer ends at the close of business Wednesday 5 April 2017.
