The crew at Surfit have come up with a great idea to raise some funds for our friends in Lismore who have been struck by the Cyclone Debbie flood. Of course, it involves getting sweaty, and getting the heart racing. But what a great way to help our Western neighbours.
It’s a 2 hour work out, with 4 x 30 minute classes:
- Walk / Run to the Point
Anyone can participate. The workout starts 8am out the front of Quattro in the park. In the event of bad weather, participants will head inside to the gym and Community Centre.
Bring a water bottle and towel. The theme of the day will be FUNdraiser… a fun feelgood workout for a cause.
Surfit owner, Dave, warns, ‘We accept all levels for this event, but we may pick on some fit types who are playing around though.’
Donation of $20 per person
Day Saturday April 22
Time: 8 am to 10 am
Light brekkie and drinks are included.
Email or call Surfit or like the facebook event page…they need a rough idea of numbers beforehand.
