Discussing Art And Culture

Four brilliant-minded cultural icons will come together in the Northern Rivers on Wednesday 7 December to discuss how education can be better delivered through art and culture.

This thought-provoking discussion will be chaired by Rhoda Roberts AO, whose rich background in arts and culture will fuel the conversation with this dynamic panel, which includes Hip Hop artist, historian and activist Akala (UK), Bundjalung artist, curator and activist Djon Mundine OAM, and rising Indigenous literary star Ellen van Neerven.

Raising money for Boomerang Festival, the panel will discuss the significance of culture and art as educational tools, and how education can be better delivered through art and culture.

The event is open to all ages, however, please be advised there will be adult themes and potentially strong language used throughout the session. Parental supervision is advised for audience members under the age of 16.

Tickets are $30 adult / $25 concession /$10 Students and teachers(for bookings of 5 or more)
